O Gente da Minha Terra (People from my land) is a "Fado"(a bluesy-folk-style-song) from Madeira, Portugal. Written by Amalia Rodrigues and Tiago Machado. It has been beautifly performed by soprano Mariana Ortiz along with the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra (OSV). This symphonic version has been arranged and orchestrated by Justo Morao, and conducted by Maestro Alfredo Rugeles. Caracas, 2008.
